As most of you know, my favorite season for the luxury home auction business is here.  Well, not technically, but based on our model of a 60-70 day advance marketing program, it is.  Those sellers and their agents that understand the power of a date-certain event are taking advantage of the April and May time period by scheduling their events for those months.

I am currently working with non-distressed sellers who have experienced long listings with both waterfront and city homes.  They, like all of the sellers I work with, do not have to sell.  They have experienced a lengthy listing and are downsizing.  They like the idea of using a date-certain event forcing affluent, end-user buyers to a point of action.
